Yobe: ADC guber candidate withdraws from race, declares assist for Buni

Yobe State governorship candidate on the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alh. Abdullahi Mohammed Talio, has withdrawn from the gubernatorial race.

Talio has pledged to assist Governor Mai Mala Buni come Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Director Normal Press and Media to Governor Buni, Mamman Mohammed, disclosed this in a press release issued to newsmen in Damaturu.

In line with the assertion, Talio introduced his withdrawal from the race on Friday at a parley with Governor Mai Mala Buni, noting that he was motivated to take action as a result of achievements recorded by the Buni-led administration within the final 4 years.

“I need to keep away from a scenario of splitting votes, and to provide our assist to Governor Buni for a second time period of workplace”, Talio mentioned.

Equally, a gaggle of 72 commerce unions and associations within the state have declared their assist to Governor Buni.

Chairman of Affiliation, Alh. Umaru Barau, mentioned the empowerment programmes of the state authorities has offered artisans within the state with sustainable technique of livelihood.
