Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay has revealed that the date for the release of her album has been changed.
This would be her second studio album and it is dubbed, ‘Shayning Star’. Reasons for the reschedule wasn’t given but we are sure these reasons are reasons beyond their control.
Taking to her social media handles, she wrote;
“I’m sorry to announce to you that the release date of the #ShayningStar Album has been postponed But the Good news is Nobody visuals drops today… It’s out on every digital platform..Let’s keep streaming.”
In an earlier submission, she revealed that her life was under threat during the early days of her music career because of the late Ebony Reigns.
In short documentary released ahead of the launch of Wendy Shay’s upcoming studio album, she disclosed how she feared for her life because some Ghanaians allegedly threatened to end her life after she was accused of trying to replace the late Ebony.
She recounted how her cyber-bullying started immediately after she was introduced to Ghanaians by Rufftown Records boss, Bullet. She has been in the news most times for being cyber-bullied by social media users. She has, in all these times fought back.
“I was officially introduced to Ghanaians on the night of VGMA 2018,” she said in the documentary sighted by African Entertainment on her Instagram page, noting that “and right after, the Cyber bullying began. Some people thinking I was in to replace the late Ebony, started sending me threatening messages, some say they will kill me.”
