UN chief says world failing to realize gender equality

The United Nations Secretary Normal issued a dire warning to world leaders : equality between ladies and men on the planet is an more and more distant objective.

Antonio Guterres stated that “girls’s rights are being abused, threatened and violated around the globe” and that “the progress made for many years is disappearing earlier than our eyes”.

“Gender equality is rising extra distant. On the present observe, UN Girls places it 300 years away. Collectively, allow us to push again towards the pushback on girls’s rights, towards misogyny and forwards for girls, ladies and our world,” Guterres stated.
