On Friday, March 25, 2022, the Black Stars of Ghana are set to play against the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the 2022 FIFA World cup qualification. Due to this, the first leg of the qualifiers is slated to occur in Kumasi, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Upon arrival, the Nigerian National Team was been recorded carefully descending the airstair. Well, on social media right now, the nature of the airstair given to them has evoked several reactions.
The airstair was very short and the Super Eagles of Nigeria have to jump, squat or better still struggle to deboard the plane. This has triggered heavy backlashes from social media users and Nigerians in particular who have predicted how the Black Stars of Ghana may have to get off their plane during the second leg.
Well, among the many Ghanaian celebrities who have lamented about the poor welcome of the Nigerian guests is Nana Aba Anamoah. She wrote on the bird app that Nigerians deserve better and should be treated well while expressing disappointment with the way they were welcomed.

Daniel Rhega wrote; Ghanaians gave Super Eagles a very poor welcoming, but if Nig decide to reciprocate the same energy they will be up in arms; This is truly embarrassing. I just hope the stadium isn’t sub-standard like the boarding stairs they provided. Best wishes to Nigeria in the upcoming game.
Eddy wrote; After this, they will put them in a bus without AC, a hotel room infested with mosquitoes, blighted with frequent power outages, then bad food. I hope NFF came prepared with their own food and water. No excuses.
