Artiste manager Mr. Logic has revealed his plans of leaving the Ghanaian music industry because the industry is not serious and forth thinking.

The controversial entertainment pundit, the Ghanaian music industry is lacking the ability of thinking ahead hence resulting in the slow progress of the industry and many artists in the country.

When asked of the reasons for such ‘harsh’ comments, Mr. Logic speaking on Accra based Hitz FM on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show hosted by the renowned Andy Dosty stated the industry seems not ready to push artists who in their own way try their best to get international recognition.

According to Mr. Logic, there was a deliberate attempt by some renowned and influential music industry players that helped Diana Hamilton to win the Artiste of the Year at the just ended 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) ahead of other artists like Kidi.

Kidi was tipped by many pundits and social media users to win the ultimate award of the night but to the surprise of many, Diana Hamilton beat him to it after she has taken the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year award as well.

Mr. Logic reacting to this stated clearly that Diana Hamilton wasn’t the deserved winner of the award. He said Kidi had a good thing going on in the international space and the VGMA board could have push him by awarding him the Artiste of the Year award.

He added that Kidi not winning the ultimate award of the night will definitely affect his status in the international stage and to him, he thinks the industry is not helping these young artists who are trying to put Ghana music on the map.
