Savannah Ingledew and Shelomi Truter to Battle for SA Squash National Champs Crown

Teenage champion Savannah Ingledew is set to face second seeded Shelomi Truter in the 2023 Growthpoint South African Squash National Championships Final at V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. 

Ingledew, who is currently SA’s u19 number one ranked player, defeated Milnay Ray 11-9, 7-11, 11-7, 11-5 to book herself a spot in the final. 

In the other semi-final, Truter, who is currently ranked number two, played against Teagan Roux ranked 3rd on the squash ranking. It was Truter who came out victorious beating Roux 10-12, 11-6, 12-10, 11-8 to set up a final match against Ingledew.

Truter and Ingledew will face off on Saturday, 12 August 2023. The match will be streamed live via Squash South Africa’s Facebook page.
