He stated the PDP candidate polled a complete of 20,429 votes to defeat his closest rival, Jibrin Ndagi-Babba of All Progressives Get together ( APC) who acquired 18,200 votes.
Ibrahim added that Adamu Ishaq-Ibrahim of Motion Alliance (AA) scored two votes, whereas Kutigi Idris-Dauda of the New Nigeria Folks’s Get together (NNPP) scored 670 votes.
“Additionally, Majin Adamu of Social Democratic Get together (SDP) scored 21 votes, whereas Aliyu Mohammed-Adamu of ADP scored 78 votes.
