
The convoy of the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP) in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, was reportedly attacked on Thursday.
DAILY POST learnt that the convoy was attacked whereas the PDP supporters have been coming back from their marketing campaign rally in Igbesa, Ado-Odo/Ota Native Authorities Space of Ogun State.
Confirming the assault, Akinlade’s media aide, Azeez Adelani, stated “the aspect glass of the automobile the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade was touring in was smashed.”

Adelani blamed the assault on some thugs he stated have been members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stated the thugs “laid ambush and attacked autos and PDP supporters after their Igbesa rally.”
