Ghanaian Rapper, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, well known as Guru has revealed that Ace rapper, Obrafour was the one who discovered him as a musician.
Speaking in an interview with Abeiku Santana on the “Atuu” show, Guru said Obrafour gave him the exposure by discovering him when he featured him in his song “Kasi3bo”.
Recall, Kasi3bo became a major hit in the country. The song was released in 2010 and that was the first time we heard of Guru and since then, he has been one of the best rappers in the industry, though he is barely recognized.
Reacting to why he is being ignored when rappers are being listed, Guru revealed that he was the originator of Afrobeat, though he will be doubted.
Guru is a rapper who doubles as a fashion designer. Guru is one of the most successful hiplife artist in Ghana. He is known for his contemporary hiplife rap style that combines English and Ghanaian indigenous languages.
