I don’t have sickle cell illness – Phyno clarifies

Nigerian indigenous rapper, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, often known as Phyno has denied studies that he has sickle cell illness.

Phyno made the clarification in a tweet on Wednesday.

A fan recognized as Ele Peter had in a tweet alleged that his love for the singer tripled when she came upon that he had sickle cell.

She wrote, “ Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell the love tripled, I pray God grants him the energy to maintain combating.”

Reacting, Phyno wrote, “ Lol. No, I don’t have sickle cell. Like to everybody combating it although.”
