Ace Ghanaian musician, Nana Gemann Nana Kwesi Agyemang also known as Gemann is now a pastor after he was granted presidential amnesty from jail. His former friend Jagger Pee has however stated that he doubts his calling.
Jagger Pee and his friend Gemann were put behind bars after they were accused of murdering a taxi driver in 1995. Gemann was however convicted of a first-degree felony and sentenced to death by hanging on May 15, 1996, while Jagger Pee got a life sentence.
Speaking in an interview on TV3, Gemman stated that he did not know the current situation of his friend Jagger Pee and described him as a fair-weather friend. “You see there are some friends known as a fair-weather friend. I talked about it in the book” he said.
Responding to Gemann’s comments on Hot 93.9FM, Jagger Pee stated that he doubts his former friend is a true pastor. “If the family of the murdered taxi driver has forgiven Gemman, why can’t he also forgive me for not just coming to pay him a visit. Is it a crime when you refuse to visit someone?”
“He is a pastor and I am also a member of a church. He should learn about the Bible well” Jagger Pee added.
