France: Rwanda genocide convict leaves jail pending attraction

A French-Rwandan man sentenced in Paris in 2021 for complicity in genocide, has been launched from jail pending his attraction.

Claude Muhayimana was launched from detention on 21 December and positioned underneath judicial supervision pending his attraction.

The previous driver, who has appealed his conviction, was referred to the investigative division of the Paris Courtroom of Attraction, which dominated on 30 November that the extension of his pre-trial detention didn’t seem like “important both for the wants of the proceedings pending the listening to, or as a safety measure”.
