Egypt unveils renovated wing of Cairo museum

The ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt has unveiled a renovated wing of its oldest museum within the capital, Cairo, on Monday.

The refurbishment of the museum wing marks the beginning of a broader renovation program for the 120-year outdated museum located close to Tahrir Sq..

“At present we announce the completion of the primary part of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Sq.’s renovation as we’re delivering a message to the entire world that the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Sq. continues to be creating”, mentioned Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Eissa, throughout the speech. 

The centrepiece of the reopening of the upgraded wing is a scroll containing round 113 spells from the E-book of the Lifeless and found final yr.
