Celebrated Ghanaian Highlife sensation, George Kwabena Adu, also known as Kwabena Kwabena has also shared his opinion regarding the ongoing #FixTheCountry campaign.
Kwabena Kwabena who was one of the main celebs who campaigned for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 campaign said that President, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo is not the only one to be blamed for the hardships in the country.
During an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz this morning, Kwabena Kwabena said that he cannot fathom why he should be the only one to be charged with the fixing of the country.
He said that the people need to be forthright and realistic with their plea for a better Ghana.
“Fix the country has been a thing we had to do since time and so we cannot blame it on one president or past president or anybody. We as a people need to be very candid and be realistic”,
In his submissions, he also said that most young people have skills but lack the willingness to put them to good use because of the “get rich quick” mentality.
As he continued to make his contributions, he chastised the wealthy for refusing to invest in new businesses and instead preferring to spend their money on lavish holidays.
My little observation I have done on our young folks and we even how we spend our money and how we perceive someone who is rich is a bit problematic. We have a problem because if they even set up a factory there would be no one to work in there.” he noted.
