Cina Soul Recounts How People Looked Down On Her At Start Of Her Career

Award-winning Ghanaian songstress, Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome who is widely known as Cina Soul in showbiz has recounted how people looked down on her during the onset of her music career.


According to her, her stature became a major setback for her when she was first introduced into the limelight and she made this known on Adom TV’s Ahosepe Xtra.

She indicated in her submission that some stakeholders looked down on her and her craft and some even mistook her for a child.

On how she coped with it, she stated that she was forced to increase her age by five years.

Cina Soul made her first appearance in the music scene when she became a finalist at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Icons competition held in Accra, Ghana.

She had her Junior High school at Deyoungsters International School and Senior high school education at Aburi Girls Senior High School and continued to study psychology and archaeology at the University of Ghana.

Earlier in 2018, Cina Soul released her first single after her EP, ’00:01’which led to her being signed by the Universal Music Group. She released her second record this year, ’12:01′ under the new record label.

She released her second record and debut single under the Universal Music imprint in August 2019, titled Adukwei (Wikipedia).
