
A minimum of 16 folks died and 21 others had been injured after the bus they had been travelling on crashed at night time in northern Uganda on Friday, native media have reported.
The police stated they imagine a stationary trailer that the bus crashed into might have been wrongly parked on the Adebe buying and selling centre in North Kyoga area, the East African newspaper reported.
The centre is a well-liked stopover and checkpoint within the north.
On Tuesday, site visitors police stated that 104 highway crashes had been reported throughout Uganda between December 30, 2022 and January 1. In 28 of them folks had misplaced their lives, Assistant Superintendent of Police Faridah Nampiima stated.
