Widespread Nigerian afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade, professionally generally known as Asake, has added a brand new feat to his record of achievements as ‘Mr Cash With The Vibes’ introduced the highest-charting debut Nigerian album on Billboard in 2022.
The music chart knowledge confirmed this on Thursday in a Twitter replace.
“In 2022, @asakemusik’s ‘Mr. Cash With The Vibe’ grew to become the highest-charting debut Nigerian album of all time on the Billboard.”
The 12-track album emerged 66th on the ‘Billboard 200’, making it the highest-debuting Nigerian album on the chart, and quantity 2nd place on Billboard World Album Chart.
The chart-topping album was launched on the eighth of September 2022 and have become the number-one album in Nigeria in a number of hours.
The album, which was launched within the latter a part of 2022, made the highest 1- 10 songs on Apple music in its week of launch.
