2023 common elections: You shouldn’t have wasted N300bn – Simi slams INEC

Common Nigerian singer and songwriter Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, higher identified by her stage title Simi, has slammed the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, over the conduct of the 2023 common election.

The singer feels that the electoral course of was disappointing and did to stage as much as the N300 billion utilized in conducting the elections.

Simi additional slammed Nigerian youths, particularly those that have made themselves instruments within the palms of determined politicians, reminding them that the politicians solely care about themselves.

The singer was reacting to the violence and irregularities that marred the February 25 and March 18, 2023, elections.

When this election has handed, it’ll be you, the poverty you’re dying to keep up and your newfound lack of disgrace. They nonetheless received’t care about YOU. Tribalism is disgraceful,” she tweeted.
